Riverton
Thrift Store & Take-Out Restaurant seems
like a zany combination but it works surprisingly well. If you didn't
call in your take-out order, you have time to browse an eclectic
mixture of hunting and fishing stuff, yard sale leftovers, curios,
near antiques, real antiques and bargain-priced used clothing —
while you wait for your pizza.
You can also chat with the über gregarious proprietors, Irene and Duon Townsend, their daughter Maggie and her husband David. You can even take your take-out in, as they have dining room seating available. They are especially proud of their Bear's 'Burger and Bear's Pizza which, although containing no bear meat, are large enough to choke a bear! They are located on US Rt. 33 in downtown Riverton.
