The Treasure Mountain Festival is held every year the 3rd weekend in September. Visitors have the opportunity to see exhibits and demonstrations that portray the breadth and depth of Pendleton County's heritage, from primitive hunting camps and settlers' cabins to Civil War reenactments, antique tractors, quilting bees and big circle dances with old-time fiddle music.

  The Treasure Mountain Festival is both educational and entertaining and well worth a visit. The small town, friendly atmosphere that characterizes Pendleton County is also on prominent display during the festival and is one of the treasures that impresses visitors the most.
