Field Mustard - Brassica rapa (Mustard Family - Cruciferae)

Field Mustard - Brassica rapa (Mustard Family - Cruciferae) Recognized by the clasping, ear-like lobes of the stem leaves. Alien. Found in cultivated fields.

Not be confused with Winter Cress, barbarea vulgaris. Winter Cress also also has clasping leaves but they are notched — unlike those of the field mustard, which are smooth and arrowhead-shaped.
