Slender Speedwell - Veronica filiformis • (Snapdragon family - Scrophulariaceae) • There are more than 20 species of Speedwell. Most are low, creeping plants, less than 10 in. with small 4-petaled violet or blue flowers with 2 stamens.
Of the four petals, three are roundish with the fourth being smaller
or narrower. Found on roadsides. The Slender Speedwell is prostrate
with large blue flowers on threadlike stalks. Alien.
