The Honey Bear

In March 2006, the Youngs purchased Skate World, adjacent to the Macksville Mart, and moved to Seneca Rocks from Gaithersburg, MD
. They now operate what was known as Skate World as the Honey Bear Restaurant & Conference Center.

There is a cozy restaurant as well as an arcade gaming section for kids. There is also about 9,000 square feet of space in the building that the Youngs have transformed into a facility that is available for community gatherings, often at no cost, and to rent out for private groups and special events.

The Youngs have a strong interest in physical and spiritual health and prepare food for the Sunday buffets that reflects that interest — the food is holistically and lovingly prepared using only natural ingredients.

Jim and Sandy Young are both writers. For a copy of Jim's book, Journey Forth,
give him a call at (304) 567-3354 or e-mail him.

Music for Weddings

Hot and Cold Buffet

With a complete hot and cold buffet setup, Sunday buffets are a treat not to be missed. Private parties will welcome the convenience of this setup area.

Arcade Gaming & Pool

Not only do the Youngs see The Honey Bear to be used for community functions, they would also like to be of service to the younger generation by providing some fun activities.
