Pendleton
County Health Department, is located
in a new facility on Mill Road in Franklin at the intersection with
Confederate Drive. Subsidized public health services are available
to eligible county residents at low or no cost. Among the services
are family planning, immunizations, infectious disease testing,
cancer screenings, pediatric developmental screenings and other
health risk prevention programs.
The Pendleton County Health Dept. is also responsible for ensuring
compliance with state health regulations regarding air and water
quality, toxic substances, waste treatment, septic system permits,
food handling and other public health concerns.
