The Highlands
Golf Club has Pendleton County's
only 18-hole golf course. Designed by Bill Ward to take advantage
of the natural contours of a high mountain valley, the result is
a scenic and challenging championship course that is also open to
the public.
The clubhouse offers dining, legal beverages, and a spacious front
porch for relaxation. A pro shop and golf lessons are available.
Weekday rate is $35 with cart for 18 holes. Weekend and holiday
rate is $40.
The club entrance is located two miles north on Troublesome Valley
Road from where it intersects with US Rt. 33, 5 miles east of Franklin.
