Nelson Rocks Outdoor Center - Located 2 ½ miles north of Circleville on Rt. 28 near the intersection with US Rt. 33, this privately owned recreational preserve is open to the public for Via Ferrata rock climbing and coming this spring, Canopy Tours using zip lines.

The Via Ferrata (path of iron) offers participants with no technical rock climbing experience a way to safely scale the steep faces of Nelson Rocks using a permanently installed anchor system, steel cables, steel rungs and a 200' suspension bridge. Must be at least 13 years old to climb.

The Canopy Tours provide an exhilarating, bird's eye view of the Preserve as participants zip line from platform to platform. The four hour tour consists of 13 zip lines, 3 sky bridges and a 40 foot rappel at the end. The zip lines total 1 mile in length and up to 80' above the forest floor. Must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs. to take the tour.
