Riverton Welding
is located in downtown Riverton just off US Rt. 33. Turn in at
Floyd's Arcade and head down the driveway toward the assemblage
of parked vehicles awaiting repair. Matt Solarchick has taken
over the business from his late father and maintains the same
customer-friendly atmosphere with its collection of armchair mechanics
seated in the philosophers' corner.
Matt does custom welding, metal fabrication,
on-site farm equipment repairs and in-shop mechanical work on
all makes of vehicles. He uses the latest in computer diagnostics.
Riverton Welding is also an official Vehicle Inspection Station
and sells tires and batteries.
