The Valley
View Restaurant located about half
way between Riverton and Seneca Rocks on US Rt. 33 and State Rt.
28, might not win any awards for its humble exterior, but if real
home cooking, bargain prices, good service and humerous, snappy
retorts count for anything, then Valley View Restaurant is well
worth a visit.
Betty Burner lives on the upper floor of the restaurant, which explains how she is able to be open seven days a week, and it validates beyond a doubt, the claim of real home-style cooking. There are breakfast and dinner specials each day priced at $4 and $5 respectively, including tax. Homemade pie is always on the menu!
