One of the best ways to experience Pendleton County is from the
seat of a bicycle. The staff at Pendleton County Guide has mapped
out a dozen tours in various parts of the county to sample the variety
of its scenic treasures. These tours vary in length and degree of
difficulty, but all are suitable for casual riders.
All tours are loops and originate at locations which provide ample
parking. Three of the tours utilize small segments of main highway;
all the others are on secondary and tertiary roads — some of
which are packed gravel and very lightly traveled.

a bicycle, these tours can be taken by automobile— allowing
one to explore the back roads of Pendleton County effortlessly.
